The first thing people notice about you when you talk, is your teeth. Are you always conscious about the way you talk and smile? If you are unsatisfied with the 3S’s of your teeth – size, shape, shade; we are here to help you achieve your dream smile by giving you a sexy smile makeover with veneers!

Let us help you gain back your confidence with your smile. But first, what are veneers and how can they improve our appearance?

Veneers are a cosmetic dental treatment that provides a better and natural-looking smile for you. They are thin tooth-coloured shells that fit on the front of teeth to improve your teeth’s appearance and prevent them from damage. Veneers can change the size, length, colour, and shape of your teeth.

Veneers are frequently used to treat:

  • Chipped teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Discoloration of teeth
  • Small teeth or peculiarly shaped teeth
  • Uneven-sized teeth

So with all that being said, here is the most important part.
Are you a good candidate for veneers?

Even though veneers can drastically change the way we look and help boost our confidence, not everyone is suitable to get veneers. If you are thinking of getting veneers, you should probably check out the criterias below before you get veneers:

  • You should have good oral hygiene with healthy teeth and gums.
  • There must be adequate enamel for veneers to stay in place as they will be attached to the enamel on your teeth.
  • Your teeth should be straight (or moderately straight). It is to ensure that the veneers are able to attach properly.
  • Do not have the habit of grinding teeth. Grinding your teeth can damage veneers.

Types of veneers available in Face Dental

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are the most popular type of veneer that is custom-made to fit on your teeth. They are stained-resistant, long-lasting, and they will blend in with your natural teeth to give you a beautiful smile. They can last up to 10 years and they have the toughest veneers material. Our patients usually go for porcelain veneers because of their durability and because they are biocompatible, they will not injure your gum.

Direct Composite Veneers

The process for direct composite veneer is quick and you will take fewer visits to the dentist. They cost less than porcelain veneers and they are easier and quicker to fix if they get damaged; even though composite veneers are usually not as strong as porcelain veneers. However, composite direct veneers require more maintenance and stains easily compared to porcelain veneers. If you are thinking of getting direct composite veneers, you will need routine polishing to maintain their glossiness.

Prefabricated Veneers

Prefabricated veneers are the ideal alternative to porcelain veneers. They can also last up to 10 years. The colour of prefabricated veneers is nicer compared to direct composite veneers and they will not discolour. It is a quick procedure with only 1 visit to the dentist.

However, they are one-size fit all veneers and not custom made like porcelain veneers so it might not be suitable for everyone’s teeth. If you are thinking of getting prefabricated veneers, our dentist will do a quick check up and lay out your options so you can have a better picture of what suits you best.

Meet Esther & Jennifer - Sisters living with small teeth their whole lives. But today, everything is different.

They had been living like this almost all their lives, irregular small teeth with gummy smiles. But today, everything changed. When Jennifer came to us, she was afraid of losing all of her teeth. Dr Beh reassured her and explained to her the procedures and what she could expect from after that.

“The fear of losing my teeth was so great. I was worried about the outcome and there were many things running through my head – “ is my money valued? What if the result is not what I expected?”.

The final result shocked her. “I can’t express my gratitude enough to the team, especially Dr Beh. He went out of his way to make me comfortable and reassured me many times even during the procedure. He has given me my smile back and for that, I will cherish what they did for me. Of course I introduced my sister, Esther to do veneers with Dr Beh as well!”
